"Parking was the most frustrating part of..."
Parking was the most frustrating part of the whole visit. I had to circle around for way too long, and the signs weren’t very clear at all. Not a great way to start things. Just annoying. For a place like this, the parking really should be easier.

The staff was really nice and helpful whenever we had questions. That part definitely made the visit better. Service was a little slow though, so overall it was fine, just not anything super amazing.

I booked an upcoming stay through visittenaya.com, it was straightforward. The dates were easy to pick, the room options were clear, and checkout didn’t drag on or feel confusing.

I’m only taking off one star because the confirmation email took a little longer than I expected, and yeah, that made me second-guess things for a bit. But it did show up, everything looks right, and I don’t think that one delay is a reason to act like the whole process was bad

"Really comfy room"
I stayed here for a short trip the room was really comfortable. The bed was soft without being too soft, and it stayed quiet around nighttime, which I appreciated. I ended up sleeping way better than I expected. Everything felt clean and cozy, and I don’t really have any complaints.

"Not the best spot for Yosemite trips"
I booked this place because I thought it’d be super easy to get into Yosemite, but it wasn’t. The drive ended up being longer than I expected from the way the site made it sound, and trying to get clear info about park entry and road stuff was kind of a hassle. When I asked the staff, the answers were vague and didn’t really help much. The place itself was fine, nothing terrible, but for a Yosemite trip I felt like I spent way too much time stuck in the car. I probaly wouldn’t stay here again if the main goal was getting into the park.

We went with our kids. Overall, it was good. Some things were easy to plan as a family. But the kid-friendly details could have been clearer. We had to figure out a few things on our own. Not a bad experience, though

"Not the best if you're traveling with pets"
Not gonna lie, trying to plan a trip with my dog was more frustrating than I expected. The pet rules weren’t very clear, and it didn’t really feel like pet owners were being considered. It just made the whole process more annoying than it needed to be.

"Clean bathroom, no hassle"
The bathroom was clean and didn’t have any weird smells, which I really appreciated. I had asked beforehand and support basically said, “Yep, it’ll be cleaned and ready,” and that’s exactly what I found. No fuss.

I only stayed for one night, but the bed was disappointing. Compared to most hotels I’ve stayed at, the mattress felt old and saggy, and the pillows were way too flat. The room itself was fine and nothing really stood out as bad, but I just didn’t sleep well at all. For me, the bed made the stay feel below average

I stayed at Tenaya and overall it was a nice experience. The property was in good shape, the grounds were clean, and the walkways were well taken care of. Our room was comfortable and didn’t have any major problems. The only issue was a flickering bathroom light that took a little longer than expected to get fixed, though the staff did eventually take care of it. I also wish there had been clearer instructions for a few things during the stay, just to make everything a bit easier. Overall, it felt like a cared-for place, just with a couple small things that could be improved.

We had a really nice stay overall. The pool area was clean and calm when we used it, so it actually felt relaxing instead of crowded. The water temperature was comfortable, and there were plenty of towels available, which I always appreciate.

The hot tub was definitely my favorite part, especially after being out all day. I’d probably stay here again just for that. The only small thing I’d mention is that a little more seating around the pool area would be nice, but overall we were happy with the visit.

The location worked well for me overall, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, getting around was more confusing than I expected, and part of me wondered if it was set up that way so people would end up asking for help or wandering into certain areas. Still a decent spot, just not as straightforward as I’d hoped...

And it wasn’t one of those generic copy-paste replies either, they actually answered what I asked. Made the whole thing feel easy. No hassle, which is really all I wanted anyway.
